Community Futures is a national rural economic renewal initiative. In
Manitoba 16 Community Futures Development Corporations provide business
development services and community economic development services for rural
Manitobans including:
- Business Planning Counseling
- General Loans
- Entrepreneurs with Disabilities Loans
- Young Entrepreneur Loans
- Community Planning, Facilitation, and Advisory Services
Our Mission
Heartland Community Futures Development Corporation builds community by:
- identifying, stimulating, and implementing economic development
opportunities to create employment.
- Encourage entrepreneurial spirit through education and mentoring.
- Create opportunities for youth to remain in the community through
building
partnerships with complementary organizations and accessing appropriate
resources.
- To be accountable for the administration of the investment funds for the
establishment of small business in the region.
